Rafael Nadal is engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Mery Perelló.
Both have been in a committed relationship for 14 years, and are set to tie the knot this autumn in a Mallorca-based ceremony.
According to HOLA! Rafa proposed to Mery, also known as Xisca, back in May during a romantic trip to Rome, but the couple kept it private for the first eight months of their engagement.
In 2010, he became the seventh male player in history and youngest of five in the Open Era to achieve the Career Grand Slam at age 24.
He is the second male player, after Andre Agassi, to complete the singles Career Golden Slam. In 2011, Nadal was named the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year.
