Tharyoz

Tharyoz (Otunba Ayodeji Olufosoye) is a Bespoke Toastmaster and Entertainment Consultant. He has handled numerous wedding and corporate events as a toastmaster and MC.

1) Please tell us about yourself and your business?
I was born over five decades ago in Liverpool, England to my parents Sir Samuel Dupe & Lady Caroline Olufosoye. My business is entertaining at events.

2) How did you start? What inspired you to get into the wedding industry?
I started by compering at my friends wedding Femi Adepoju in London and that was almost thirty years ago. I was quite pleased I made people laugh at the reception. That was a new dawn day. It was the sunrise of THARYOZ which emanates from my name.

3) Would you start your business, if you were to do it over again? What would you do differently?
I love and cherish every time I compere at a wedding. I would do the same as I feel the excitement of being a part of the event. Yes I would do it over again as I love it more each time I compere.

4) What has been your greatest motivation?
My inspiration into the wedding industry is i love the preparations it takes as it’s the first step in life from BOYZ to MEN and from GIRLS to WOMEN. I’m ORATORY blessed so my chatter nature made me love weddings.

5) What do you think of the Nigerian/Ghanaian wedding industry? Has it changed over the years and how?
The Nigerian/Ghanaian wedding is a mega culture in both nations with Nigeria being the larger of the two. Yes they have rich diverse cultures. The duo nations portray the richness of our culture.

6) What differentiates you from others in your line of business and location? What are your greatest strengths?
I’m more methodical with each event as it is bespoke service. I create the special day with the clients, we share emails and briefings so all details are included. My greatest strength is travelling anywhere globally at short notice once I’m on-board. it’s a global village and we all can share notes.
