2018 has been like every other year ladened with ups and downs, highs and lows basically the entire package. Amidst, the online and offline drama both at home and abroad, some people’s love still the stood the test of time as they took the bold step to officially walk into forever with their significant others.

As expected, some Nigerian celebrities were not left out, here are the few that tied the knot this year.

The Tinsel star tied the knot with his beautiful bride three days before the end of the year. It’s never too late, yeah?

After a hush hush relationship which appears to be the norm lately, the duo got married traditionally on Dec 29, 2018.

3. Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor And Ibrahim Suleiman

Some of us are still not over the cuteness that’s Ihuoma and Ibrahim. The Tinsel stars got more than half of the country excited when they professed their love for each other and walked down the aisle sometime in the year.

Loads of spice that’s hard to miss! The pair also kept their relationship out of the public eye successfully until they were ready to walk down the aisle. They had their surprise wedding in September 2018.

5. Gbemi Olateru And Femi Ajayi

Although they were always in each other’s comment section, one would have hardly realised they were an item. Well, it became glaring after their wedding IV leaked online. They got hitched on November 3, 2018.

6. Zainab Balogun And Dikko Nwachukwu

In 2018, we were yet again taken by surprise when the lovely Zainab Balogun got hitched to the CEO of JetWest Airways, Dikko Nwachukwu. It was indeed a magnificent one.

7. Tania Omotayo And Sunmbo

Tania had a top-secret wedding in October 2018. She married Sunmbo, the co owner of Buzzbar, a popular restaurant in Lagos.

8. Gabriel Afolayan And Banke

On the 5th of April, Gabriel had a lush traditional wedding ceremony in Ibadan obviously shattering a lot of hearts in the process.

Kemi Lala Akindoju and beau, Gbubemi Fregene popularly known as Chef Fregz finally sealed their union in church a few days ago in the presence of friends and family.

The couple rocked Mai Atafo designs gracefully. Anyone could feel the excitement of the duo even from a distance.

The thespian and the cook got married in a beautiful traditional ceremony on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

The couple and guests were later treated to an exclusive surprise dinner hosted by Adebola Williams at Tarragon in Ikoyi.

Kemi Lala Akinydoju who got traditionally married to Chef Fregz shortly after releasing their pre-wedding photos on social media over the weekend.

Friends and colleagues were in attendance, all decked up, to celebrate with them. The sweet boys and baby girls were all glammed up for this one.

Banky W, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Osas Ajibade, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Zainab Balogun, Adesua Etomi and a host of others graced the wedding ceremony.

Kemi Lala Akindoju fondly called “Lala” is an actor, drama instructor, casting director and producer.

She grew up in Lagos and started acting professionally in 2005. She has since featured in over 70 stage and film productions around the world while Fregz whose real name is Gbubemi Fregene was born in Abeokuta. He grew up in Benin City.

He studied Industrial relations and human resource management at Covenant University and cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute.
