All The Things You Should Do When Planning A Bachelorette Party

Planning a bachelorette may not seem as tasking as a wedding but it also requires thorough planning and deliberate execution. A bachelorette party is one organized to celebrate the last single days of an intending bride which is typically attended by only women.

Here are a few must-dos when planning a bachelorette party:

1. Proper Timing

There’s no rule book when it comes to throwing a party but a few weeks before the wedding is a good time. It’s  wise that the bachelorette party date is not too close to the big day so as to not exhaust the bride ahead of the big day.

2. Draft A Guest List

It is important to know who you’d have and who you’d rather not have on your guest list. Even though you may want to keep it all as a surprise. It is important to ensure that you know exactly who the bride-to-be would love to have at her bachelorette party. Never forget sisters-in-law, if any.

3. Focus On The Bride

Whatever theme, colours or outfits you might be choosing, be sure it resonates with the bride. It will be unfair to bring anything foreign to her on that night or do anything she cannot relate with. Do not get carried away. Focus on the intending bride’s personality.

4. Budget

You have to draw up a budget so you can know how much money will go into planning and execution. Have a conversation with the other bridesmaids or friends of the bride. This will help estimate the maximum amount that each person is willing or can afford to spend. This helps you know what kind of party you should actually throw.

5. Transportation

You might want to make adequate arrangement for transportation – depending on what you have planned out. Are you getting more cars? Will you need to hire cars or just order cabs? It is important that you factor this in and coupled with the number of people who might be coming along.

All in all, plan a bachelorette party, that keeps the bride at the centre stage, fun-filled and equally memorable.
