These Wedding Suit Rules Will Bring Out The ‘Prince Charming’ In Your Groom

suit 2

A suit is a set of garments made from the same cloth, usually consisting of at least a jacket and trousers. Lounge suits, which originated in Britain as country wear, are the most common style of Western suit, according to Wikipedia.

A wedding suit is tailor made for men on their big day. Like the wedding dresses, it comes in different styles and colours too.

Here are a few rules you can follow if you want to look like the perfect prince charming on your wedding.

1. Fitting

No matter how expensive a suit is, it won’t look good if it’s hanging off your shoulders. Ensure you get a good fit. Short sleeves and high leg trousers are not allowed.

2. Let Your Suit Speak Passion And Life

Confidence is a thing but refrain from looking boring as much as you can. Make a statemen with your suit. Glen plaid pattern is not a bad idea.

3. The Waistcoat Is Your Friend

The waistcoat is spot on for the stylish groom. Cut close to the body and hemmed to the belt line – just perfect!

4. Sit With Care

It is important to unfasten your jackets when you sit.

5. Double Breasted Jacket

Do not fasten the bottom button of a double-breasted jacket except it has only a single row of buttons.

6. Be Careful With Accessories

Floral buttonhole, pocket square handkerchief and cufflinks is just it. Leave your big, bulky watch and rings at home.

7. Fabric is King

The fabric you choose should be dictated by the time of year and expected temperatures.

8. Don’t Miss Out On The Fit Test

Your jacket should be able to fit a fist between the cloth and your chest. Of course, you want to breathe easy on your big day.

9. Lining Depicts Quality

A good suit jacket will feature a fully-lined interior, and this is an easy way to add a flash of colour or reveal a little of your personality. Statement stripes, vibrant hues and on-trend patterns are also in line.

10. Detail is Key

A flower loop, hand stitched sleeve lining, hand finished interior pocket, vented pleat and a hidden pocket – the perfect storing place for those wedding bands.

These details are equally important on your suit. If you obey most of these ‘Wedding Suit Rules’ you are sure to look eccentric on your wedding.

8 Engagement Ring Cuts That Will Make Her Say ‘Yes’ Even Before You Ask

engagement ring

Have you met the one? Are you planning to ask the big question anytime soon and find it hard to pick a suitable engagement ring that have her drooling on sight?

Don’t stress it! We are here for you as always.

According to Wikipedia, an engagement ring is a ring indicating that the person wearing it is engaged to be married, especially in Western cultures. Obviously, this has extended to other parts of the world too.

Here are 8 engagement ring cuts that will make your Queen elated.

1. Heart Cut

A heart-shaped diamond resembles its name, so the diamond is in the shape of a literal heart. This particular cut speaks volumes as it is an impeccable symbol of love.

2. Emerald Cut

An emerald cut (originally developed for the gem of the same name) is rectangular with cropped corners and long, stair-step-like facets. It exudes elegance and refinement.

3. Marquise Cut

The marquise is an oval with pointed ends. This also depicts elegance.

4. Asscher Cut

An asscher is similar to an emerald cut, but square, so it looks octagonal (the radiant is a popular variation of these but with facets that give it even greater sparkle). If your girl has a thing for antiques then the asscher cut is just for her.

5. Round Cut

One of the most popular cuts for an engagement ring, the round cut is also a classic diamond shape. A round stone with 58 facets, it has the most sparkle.

6. Oval Cut

The oval shape, which first began appearing in the Sixties, visually elongates the fingers and is completely unique.

7. Pear Cut

A pear-cut diamond also resembles its name. An added bonus to the pear shape is that if you wear it with the point facing away from your body, it makes your finger look long and slender.

8. Cushion Cut

The cushion cut is a cross between a rectangle and an oval; it has a pillow shape, and it is also called an “antique cut.

Any of these rings are sure to give your significant other instant goose bumps!

Honeymoon

This Is The Reason Why Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Honeymoon Location Is Inconsistent

meghan markle4

A little over a week ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got hitched in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The couple probably planned to have a very private honeymoon.

It was first reported that the couple would be traveling to Namibia, but the plans kept changing.

“The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning,” royal commentator Omid Scobie told Elle.com last week.

“If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they’ll be advised by their protection team to change plans. William and Kate’s protection officers ended up doing recon on two destinations before they settled on the Seychelles for their 2011 honeymoon. I heard that just over a month before the wedding, Harry and Meghan hadn’t even booked a destination, so these plans have come together rather quickly!”

Still, somewhere in Africa seems like a likely choice as it’s been a place of significance in their relationship. In 2017, Harry took Meghan to Botswana for her 36th birthday, a place that they had already vacationed earlier in their relationship.

You know, it’s a very different world here,” said Roger Dugmore, a Botswana-based safari organizer, to Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nicholl for her book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love. “I think what he loved most was the fact that he was really treated like a normal person; he’s just one of the boys. I think he once said, ‘You know, if I could have it another way, I think I’d be a safari guide in Africa.’”

While Kensington Palace has typically kept the world up to date with Harry and Meghan’s agenda, from their engagement to the details of their wedding, the honeymoon date and location will be kept under wraps for the sake of the couple’s privacy and security.

“The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning,” said Scobie. “If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they’ll be advised by their protection team to change plans.”

Read Why Meghan Markle’s Father Will Not Be At The Royal Wedding

Meghan Markle wedding

Meghan Markle confirmed Thursday that her father will not be present to walk her down the aisle when she marries Prince Harry, in a late announcement hinting at disarray behind Britain’s meticulously planned royal wedding.

“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” she said in a statement issued through Kensington Palace, Harry’s official residence.

Thomas Markle, 73, underwent heart surgery on Wednesday following a paparazzi scandal and a series of U-turns over his intention to attend.

The pre-ceremony fiasco would be enough to derail most weddings, but on Thursday preparations in Windsor, west of London, ploughed ahead with a military dress rehearsal, fine-tuning arrangements ahead of the big day.

The practice session saw military marches and a dry-run of the carriage procession, which will whisk Harry and his bride around the town to greet the crowds after their wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Some 250 members of the armed forces are due to take part in Saturday’s festivities, and diehard royalists are already camping out to secure the best viewing spots along the carriage route.

Until now, Kensington Palace has tightly planned and closely controlled the drip-fed revelations about details of the wedding day.

Thomas Markle’s appearance at the wedding has been under a cloud of doubt throughout the week.

He was originally reported to have pulled out of the ceremony after a paparazzi scandal, where he allegedly posed for a set of staged photos sold for a reported £100,000 (114,000 euros, $135,000) — in a breach of royal etiquette.

Sources told US celebrity news website TMZ that he felt too embarrassed to attend the wedding.

He then signalled his intention to attend after being contacted by Markle via text, according TMZ, but questions remained as he was due to undergo heart surgery with just days to go before the wedding.

Meghan Markle’s statement confirmed that her father will not attend the wedding for health reasons.

“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday,” Meghan Markle added in the statement.

TMZ reported Thursday that Thomas Markle was alert and out of surgery after having stents implanted.

“I’m ok. It will take a long time to heal. Staying in the hospital a few more days,” he told the site.

He has suggested that his ex-wife Doria Ragland, the bride’s mother, would be the best person to stand in and walk her down the aisle.
