DO NOT Say These 3 Things On Your Wedding Night

Wedding night Iludio

It doesn’t matter how long a couple may have been together before they finally got married, they always look forward to their wedding night. Maybe to bask in the euphoria of finally being together forever. Maybe to celebrate their love together. Again. Alone. It could be anything. It’s definitely different strokes for different folks.

In all the excitement and happiness, there are some things your partner definitely doesn’t want to hear on your wedding night.

1. One More E-mail, Please

You have a lifetime to face work, if you ask me, you may spend more time working than you will with your partner.

Save this day for both of you. If possible, try to clear your desk or find someone who will help out, even if it’s just for that night.

2. My Ex said

Yes…Yes, you are married now. She’s all yours. He is all yours but doesn’t entirely wipe out all insecurities. If it’s important to talk about your ex some other day, not that night.

3. We Should Have…

…We should have nothing. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just relax and enjoy your partner’s company. No need to fuss about anything and ruin your night.

No two marriages or relationships are the same but generally, you know what you would not want to hear when spending quality time with your partner.

You deserve an amazing time with the love of your life. Endeavour to enjoy it.

This Is The Reason Why Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Honeymoon Location Is Inconsistent

meghan markle4

A little over a week ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got hitched in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The couple probably planned to have a very private honeymoon.

It was first reported that the couple would be traveling to Namibia, but the plans kept changing.

“The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning,” royal commentator Omid Scobie told Elle.com last week.

“If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they’ll be advised by their protection team to change plans. William and Kate’s protection officers ended up doing recon on two destinations before they settled on the Seychelles for their 2011 honeymoon. I heard that just over a month before the wedding, Harry and Meghan hadn’t even booked a destination, so these plans have come together rather quickly!”

Still, somewhere in Africa seems like a likely choice as it’s been a place of significance in their relationship. In 2017, Harry took Meghan to Botswana for her 36th birthday, a place that they had already vacationed earlier in their relationship.

You know, it’s a very different world here,” said Roger Dugmore, a Botswana-based safari organizer, to Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nicholl for her book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love. “I think what he loved most was the fact that he was really treated like a normal person; he’s just one of the boys. I think he once said, ‘You know, if I could have it another way, I think I’d be a safari guide in Africa.’”

While Kensington Palace has typically kept the world up to date with Harry and Meghan’s agenda, from their engagement to the details of their wedding, the honeymoon date and location will be kept under wraps for the sake of the couple’s privacy and security.

“The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning,” said Scobie. “If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they’ll be advised by their protection team to change plans.”

Honeymoon, Planning

Things to consider for your honeymoon

The honeymoon will feel great for an engaged couple if it is well planned. You may be carried away planning the wedding and then forget to plan the honeymoon. You definitely do not want that to happen. Here are things to consider when planning your honeymoon:

  1. Cost – What is the total cost? Do you have enough money saved? Make sure to add enough buffer as the final cost may exceed your expectation. You should pay for your flights, local transportation and accommodation ahead of time as prices may rise due to inflation, demand, and/or exchange rates. You should consider going at a different time if cheaper.
  2. Right time – Do you go right after your wedding or later? Typically, couples go right after their wedding. However, you don’t have to. For instance, you might require more time for a dream destination. You might be in a situation where you have to host/entertain family who traveled great distances to attend your wedding. In such cases, you can schedule for a better time.
  3. Distance – How far do you travel? Do you have enough time to travel a long distance? Such a trip can cut short your actual honeymoon experience at a resort. Also, you have a high chance to miss a connection or lose luggage.
  4. Season/Climate – What is the expected climate at your honeymoon destination? You will want a warm summer weather rather than a cold or rainy weather.
  5. Vacation time – Do you have enough vacation time? If not, perhaps schedule your honeymoon when you have enough time. You should plan to come back at least a day before starting work, in case you miss your flight or have to get over jet lag. You might be better off going to a nearby destination. Also, try not to carry your work. If you have work to do, consider moving the honeymoon.
