Folarin Alakija married Nazarin Jafarian Ghaissarifay last weekend at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The couple got engaged and had their Nigerian traditional wedding last year.

Folarin is the last son of Folorunso Alakija, an oil tycoon, billionaire and one of the richest women in the world. Folarin is an entrepreneur and investor. His first wife unfortunately died due to cancer.

Nazarin or Naza was an Iranian model and marketing consultant. She wore a beautiful strapless gown.

The estimated cost is a staggering £5 million pounds. The lavish wedding was well attended with star studded guests. Singer and Song Writer, Robin Thicke performed.

Sade Awe of the Bridal Circle planned the wedding. Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium provided the stunning 12-foot wedding cake and Jeff Leatham adorned the venue with a million beautiful roses.

Wow!! Social media went crazy today with the big reveal that Adesua Etomi and Banky W were engaged. The couple were love interests in Banky W’s musical video as well as the recent “The Wedding Party” movie. Banky W first revealed on his instagram page in 2 posts.

Dear Susu (part 1)

We crossed paths 2 or 3 times since 2012, but I wasn’t paying enough attention. Destiny was staring me right in the face and I was too caught up in my own hustle and paper chase, to know it. In June 2015 however, God brought you my way again, and this time, I really SAW you. I was smitten by your grace, aura, and beauty. So smitten infact, that even though I didn’t get to say a word to you that day (because you were seated far across the room), I immediately called my best friend @captdemuren and told him I’d found my next girlfriend. LOL. He laughed.

I asked one or two people about you.. your manager Isioma, who I’d worked with previously, and then I did some research myself. Googled you, stalked your instagram.. the whole 9 yards, and the more I found out, the more you seemed like a breath of fresh air.
Now I personally don’t like being “hooked up”, so I decided to approach you myself by sliding into your DM a few days later. Introduced myself, made some silly attempts to make you laugh, told you I planned to become your biggest fan, and asked if we could be friends. Thank God you laughed at my silly jokes, and thank God you graciously agreed to become my friend. At the time, I was COMPLETELY lying about only wanting to be friends, by the way.. but I figured it was a safe place to start.
Since that DM, I’ve spoken to you pretty much every single day for almost 2 years. Sometimes, in the morning, at night and in between. We clicked instantly, and you quickly became one of my favourite people on earth, and one of my closest friends. It got to the point where my day wouldn’t quite feel right without speaking to you. I needed your friendship. I needed, and still need, the bond we share. It completes me.
I knew pretty early in the process that I wanted to spend forever with you. Prayed about it fervently. But it took you FOREVER (okay fine.. maybe a year and a half or so) to see things my way. But I kinda knew all along.. I was just waiting for you to catch up. (To be continued pls read part 2)

“Dear Susu (part II)
In that time, I got engaged to you in my “made for you” music video… and by pure coincidence, we both got cast to get married in the wedding party movie.. but all the while we were the very best of friends. I guess, in our case, real life will now imitate art.

I’m not sure what the future will bring, but I’m completely sure that I am ready to face it with you by my side. I pray that God continues to build me into the kind of man that you deserve. I love you Susu.. I feel safe and at peace with you. You mean the world to me. Thank you for agreeing to be my lover and best friend. Thank you for agreeing to be my wife.

Ironically, everyone who has seen us together in art, or in life, always insists that we have amazing chemistry. I guess you can say we have been hiding in plain sight. I fell in love with an Actress. Now my life is a movie.

In February of 2017, I asked Adesua Tolulope Oluwaseun Etomi to be my wife. She said Yes.”

Adesua Etomi then had this to say via her Instagram post:

“I went to an event in 2015 and I suppose that was the beginning of something amazing because once banky saw me, he decided that he was going to be my biggest fan.
He slid into my DM and sent the funniest message and that was how we became friends. At the time, I wasn’t interested in anything but a friendship and he was very respectful of that and so we stayed just friends for about a year and a half.
Our friendship opened my eyes to a lot of things. Opened my eyes to the type of man Olubankole is and WHAT A MAN. WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN.
Olubankole, Your Heart is pure and good, to the very core. You are proof that God is real, you are proof that what’s on the inside is greater and so much more powerful than what we see on the outside and you are the evidence of what I hoped for. I bless God for entrusting my heart in your hands because I know it’s safe. You are everything i prayed for and so much more.
Thank you for praying with me, fasting with me, always making time for me, laughing with me, and caring more about me than yourself. Thank you for being kind, loving and full of Integrity.

2016 Headies was a special event for the popular Nigerian female rapper Eva Alordiah. She got engaged to her heart rob while performing on stage, how romantic!..

Eva Alordiah took to her IG page to write to her fiancé, Caesar a love poem. Read what she wrote:

“What do you want?”

“Nothing.” It was the way her eyes drew imaginary circles in the air that suggested she wanted more than nothing.

The night air was cold and the occasional howling of dogs in the distance was the only sound to be heard. They stood a couple feet apart in the middle of the dimly lit street, barely saying anything but communicating more than was needed.

Sometimes her eyes met his and she’d look past him hoping he didn’t notice the excitement that rippled like waves through her body.

He pulled her towards him, killing the space between them and letting her head find rest on his broad chest. It was hard, from all of the hours he spent at the gym, and she loved the feel of it.

“Do you want me to leave?” He asked, his words a breath and a half against her ears as He tightened his grip on her small waist. “No.” She whispered.

• Grew from 80 vendor partners to over 390 vendor partners
• Added Checklist – a savable online checklist with links to helpful guides
• Added Galleries – a catalog of wedding inspirations (cakes, hairstyles, décor, fashion and more)

2017 Early Outlook

This February, we will launch and expand the ecosystem to include:

• Online Shop – Buy wedding products (fashion, gifts, stationery and more). We are currently working and testing with a few vendors. Reach out to us if you are interested.
• Gift Registry – Create and share your gift registry with wedding guests. Receive the right gifts as well as more gifts.
• Cash Funds – Get wedding guests to donate to your honeymoon, venue, etc.
• Vendor Requests – Couples can submit new requests/jobs and vendors can easily discover and apply.
• Vendor Interview Series – Discussions with seasoned industry experts
• Venue Bookings – ability to directly book some event venues
• And many improvements.

On December 16th, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2nd daughter Zahra will be hitched to Ahmed Indimi, the son of billionaire Mohammed Indimi.

The first official photo from the couple’s engagement shoot was just released. The First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has asked everyone to please join her in prayers as her second daughter gets married on Friday December 16, 2016. The wedding will take place in Abuja, Nigeria and expected to pull a crowd.

Tiwa Savage, Nigerian songstress, finally reacts to her husband’s allegations of infidelity via social media. In a 45-minute long interview from Pulse Nigeria, Tiwa opens about her marriage with Tunji ‘Tee Billz or TJ’ Balogun.

She describes how she learnt about TJ’s instagram allegations. Later on, she shockingly reveals that the couple have not been together for 2 months. She also talks about TJ’s cheating while she was away in Jamaica and pregnant. According to Tiwa, she was hospitalized in Jamaica after bleeding and passing out, and no one could get a hold of TJ. She later confronted him after going through his phone and finding a conversation with another lady that happened the night she was hospitalized. He responded that he was only “chilling” in a hotel with the lady.

She went on to say “For the record, I have never cheated on my husband. Never! Not with Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid, 2face and not with anybody. I am willing to take a lie detector test for that. I have never cheated on my husband, and Tunji knows this”.

• She had to separate business from marriage, to save her marriage.
• Since he stopped working as her manager, he has been struggling financially.
