Damilare & Adesuwa both attended Convenant University. They soon became friends and before they knew it, started a love relationship. They dated for a year before the relationship ended. However they remained friends whilst they moved on with life and dated other people. So many years later, in 2016, Damilare checked up on Adesuwa via his BBM as they were friends on there. They started talking again and knowing they had history, been friends wasn’t a difficult task.

Soon enough they spoke daily and realized their strong bond was intact. They started courting this time in preparation for a lifetime together. In August, Damilare proposed and Adesuwa said yes. They got married in June 2017.
